ASCEND CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
ZERO REFUND, NO CANCELLATION & PAYMENT DISPUTE POLICY
All payments made to Ascend Christian University and Ascend Continuing Education are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except where a refund or other remedy is specifically required by applicable law.
By enrolling, registering, submitting payment, or authorizing any payment to Ascend Christian University or Ascend Continuing Education, the student, applicant, purchaser, or authorized payer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
Once payment has been submitted, processed, or authorized, no voluntary refunds will be issued under any circumstance.
This policy applies to, but is not limited to:
NO REFUNDS FOR NON-PARTICIPATION
A refund will not be provided because a student:
Students are responsible for reviewing all program descriptions, requirements, policies, pricing, and disclosures before submitting payment.
DIGITAL ACCESS & EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
Because Ascend may begin administrative processing, establish student records, provide educational materials, create student accounts, grant platform access, reserve program placement, or otherwise begin providing services shortly after payment, enrollment becomes non-refundable once payment is submitted.
A student's failure to access or use the materials or services provided does not create a right to a refund.
NO CANCELLATION AFTER PAYMENT
Submitting payment constitutes the student's confirmation of enrollment and acceptance of this policy.
A request to cancel enrollment after payment has been processed does not create a refund obligation.
PAYMENT PLANS
Students enrolled under a payment plan remain responsible for all amounts they have validly agreed to pay under the applicable enrollment or payment agreement.
Payments already processed are non-refundable.
Failure to complete a payment plan does not create a right to recover amounts previously paid.
Any consequences for an unpaid balance will be handled according to the student's written agreement and applicable law.
NO UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENT REVERSALS
Students and authorized payers agree that a bank dispute, payment reversal, or chargeback should not be used as a substitute for requesting clarification or addressing a legitimate billing concern directly with Ascend.
If a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal is submitted for a transaction that Ascend believes was validly authorized and properly provided, Ascend may respond to the bank, payment processor, or card network with supporting documentation, including:
Ascend reserves the right to dispute any unsupported, inaccurate, or allegedly fraudulent chargeback through the appropriate payment processor or financial institution.
FRAUDULENT OR FALSE PAYMENT DISPUTES
Submitting knowingly false information in connection with a chargeback, payment dispute, payment reversal, or fraud claim may violate applicable laws, financial institution policies, or card-network rules.
Ascend reserves the right to preserve and provide relevant transaction records when responding to a legitimate inquiry from a payment processor, bank, card network, governmental authority, or other legally authorized party.
OUTSTANDING BALANCES
If a valid balance remains due under a student's written agreement, Ascend may pursue collection of that balance through lawful means permitted under the agreement and applicable law.
No unlawful penalty, fee, or collection action will be imposed solely because a consumer exercises a legal right to dispute a transaction.
NON-TRANSFERABLE PAYMENTS
Payments may not be transferred to:
